What Makes Us Different for Chelsea Properties
Local Knowledge That Matters
Chelsea is not like other parts of London. Its conservation areas, listed buildings, and discerning residents require a decorator who understands the nuances. We know which colours are approved for Cadogan Estate exteriors, which paints perform best on Chelsea’s lime-rendered facades, and how to work efficiently within the restrictions that come with period properties.
Tailored to Your Property
No two Chelsea homes are the same. A basement flat on Beaufort Street has very different requirements to a five-storey townhouse on Cheyne Walk. We tailor our approach to the specific characteristics of your property — its age, construction, condition, and your personal vision.
Premium Materials as Standard
We use Farrow & Ball, Little Greene, Mylands, and other premium brands as standard because Chelsea’s properties deserve nothing less. Our trade accounts mean you benefit from competitive material costs without compromising on quality.
Minimal Disruption
We understand that having decorators in your home is an intrusion. Our teams work efficiently, keep noise to a minimum, and always leave your property clean and tidy at the end of each day. If you need us to work around your schedule, we will.
Working with Building Management
A significant number of Chelsea properties are managed by freeholders and agents, most notably the Cadogan Estate. We have extensive experience navigating the approvals, access arrangements, and standards these organisations require.
- Cadogan Estate compliance — We understand their approved colour palettes, contractor requirements, and inspection processes
- Building access coordination — We liaise directly with porters, property managers, and managing agents to arrange scaffolding permits, lift access, and parking
- Leaseholder requirements — We provide all necessary documentation including insurance certificates, risk assessments, and method statements
- Communal area protocols — Our teams are fully briefed on protecting shared spaces, respecting quiet hours, and maintaining access for other residents
Our Protection Protocols
Protecting your home and belongings is non-negotiable. Before any paint is opened, our team follows a rigorous protection protocol:
- Heavy-duty dust sheets on all floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Masking tape on every edge, frame, and surface boundary
- Plastic sheeting for carpets and high-value furnishings
- Door and window seals to prevent dust migration between rooms
At the end of each working day, we clean up completely. No paint splashes left on door handles, no dusty footprints in hallways, no tools left where they shouldn’t be. When the project is finished, we carry out a deep clean so your home is ready to enjoy immediately.
We carry full public liability insurance up to £5 million, so in the unlikely event that something does go wrong, you are completely protected.
“They managed the entire process seamlessly, including liaising with our building manager. The flat looks absolutely stunning.”
