Check that surfaces are ready for the selected paint system before starting. Outstanding wet trades, joinery installation and service alterations can interrupt a finish. Record the scope of local repairs rather than assuming decoration covers every defect.
Choosing the specification
Agree the lighting and conditions for reviewing the work. Local touch-ups may show against an existing finish, so some surfaces may need a complete coat. Keep the paint references and room schedule with the handover information.
Define the work in your quotation
The quotation should identify the surfaces, preparation, products, access and exclusions. Share photographs and the property address so that we can discuss the condition and arrange the next step.
