New build painting follows a precise process designed around the specific requirements of fresh construction surfaces. On newly plastered walls, we apply a mist coat — a diluted first coat of emulsion (typically 50% paint, 50% water) that penetrates the porous plaster and creates a stable base for subsequent coats.
