Our damp and mould treatment process begins with a thorough moisture survey using professional damp meters, thermal imaging, and visual assessment. We identify the type and source of moisture: rising damp (moisture drawn up from the ground through porous masonry), penetrating damp (water entering through the building envelope from rain, leaking gutters, or defective rendering), or condensation (warm, moist air meeting cold surfaces). Each type requires a different treatment approach. For mould, we first kill all active growth using professional-grade fungicidal solutions that penetrate beyond the visible surface mould to eliminate embedded spores.
