Throughout the process, we work in manageable sections, never allowing water to sit on plaster for extended periods. Once all paper is removed, we wash down walls to remove adhesive residue, allow surfaces to dry completely, then assess for any plaster damage. Minor cracks and nibs are filled with fine surface filler, skim-coat repairs are carried out where needed, and the walls are sanded smooth and sealed with an appropriate primer — ready for painting, lining, or re-papering.
