We use indoor aluminium tower scaffolding for all high ceiling work, providing a safe, stable platform with guardrails that allows our painters to work at the correct distance from the surface — typically 30–50 centimetres — which is essential for consistent application and quality control. For heavily cracked ceilings — common in older Chelsea properties — we fill and sand all cracks, apply a flexible crack-bridging product where needed, and use fine-weave lining paper on the worst areas before painting.
